I started to think about creating pressed floral art a few months ago and I’m so glad I did. I have been pressing flowers for years but normally just use them for creating pictures in winter when I don’t have any flowers in my garden.
This year I wanted to create some one off pieces of art work.
I ordered some beautiful textured watercolour paper and got pressing. Here are the results
I often get asked how do I press my flowers. I use the simple old fashioned way of pressing between books. It’s a slow process but worth it I think.
